Lakota has been adopted Late announcement, she left about 2 weeks ago to Menifee. She is with a young gal that devotes her time to training horses that have troubles. Lakota needed a smaller environment where she could receive more one on one time so she could grow into a nice riding horse. 🥶🐴 Midweek Update from White Rock Ranch Horse Rescue and Retirement, Inc. 🐴🥶 It has been cold out at the ranch this week! We’ve been bundling up and making sure everyone has plenty of hay to help keep those bellies warm. The horses don’t seem to mind too much — fluffy winter coats and full hay barrels make for some pretty content faces — but we sure are counting down the days until warmer weather returns! ☀️ Until then, it’s layers, hot coffee, and lots of extra love in the barns.
