White Rock Ranch Horse Rescue & Retirement

Every summer we get our horses a kid pool and invite all of them to check it out. Some of them love it like, Valentine, others just take a glance and walk away. The pool serves multipurposes. First and most importantly, it encourages the horses to drink more water. Secondly, this is a method of desensitization. If you notice, our horses are not afraid of much because we expose them to everything. Third, it makes them engage their brain. We don't want them standing around numb with boredom.
